April is a big month in our house since two of my children share the same birthday (born 15 years apart!), and I am very much like you, I am big on occasions. In fact, that is why I started my blog, to encourage people to use food to make everyday occasions that bring family and friends together. With a baby on the way there will be more and more of those opportunities... Congratulations and enjoy!

Happy Birthday (to the hubby), Anniversary (to you both), and Birth Day (coming up)! This dessert looks divine and if I hadn't just had a kid I'd be all over that recipe. Best of luck in your upcoming days!

Happy Belated Anniversary, Jennifer! Kudos to you for being able to fit into your wedding dress even after 6 years of being married (even though you couldn't wear it this year)!!!

And of course I am so very excited for the little bundle that will soon be making its way into your lives.

Beautiful cake!

So glad to hear that you, David and baby are doing well. And, obviously, eating well too!!! This looks divine. I may try to get my gumption up to make it. Have a wonderful, blessed and glorious Easter (it is my favorite holiday/celebration of the entire year). My Mother is feeling better so we are having a total of 13 for dinner, lots of "orphans", etc. So if I survive the kitchen I may try this. Best to you -- and thank you for the post. -Jonathan
